राष्ट्रीय ग्रंथपाल दिन
आदर्श शिक्षण प्रसारक मंडळ संचलित, श्री. डी. डी. विसपुते अध्यापक विद्यालय, पनवेल येथे आदर्श समूहाचे चेअरमन मा.श्री.धनराजजी विसपुते यांच्या प्रेरणेने व मा. प्राचार्या कुसुम मधाळे यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाने,
भारतीय ग्रंथालय चळवळीचे जनक , ग्रंथालयशास्त्राचे पितामह म्हणून ओळखल्या जाणाऱ्या डॉ.एस.आर.रंगनाथन यांच्या जयंतीनिमित्त (12 ऑगस्ट) राष्ट्रीय ग्रंथपाल दिन साजरा करण्यात आला.
देशातील सर्वसामान्यांना ज्ञानाची कवाडे विनामूल्य खुली करण्याचा विचार सर्वप्रथम डॉ.रंगनाथन यांची रूजवला. नंतर तो जोपासण्यासाठीही आपले संपूर्ण आयुष्य झिजवले.
या दिवसाचे औचित्य साधून डी.एड. चे ग्रंथपाल, श्री. भीमराव काशिनाथ पगारे यांनी सर्व साहित्य प्रकारातील पुस्तके, पाठ्यपुस्तके, तसेच ग्रंथालयातील विविध प्रकारच्या शैक्षणिक साहित्य आणि साधनाचे प्रदर्शन भरवले.
या प्रदर्शनाला विद्यार्थीं व शिक्षकांनी उत्स्फूर्त प्रतिसाद दिला.
National Librarian’s Day

National Librarian Day was celebrated on the birth anniversary (August 12) of Dr. S.R. Ranganathan, the father of library science and the father of Indian library movement.
To open the doors of knowledge to the common people of the country for free The idea was first conceived by Dr.Ranganathan. Later he spent his whole life to cultivate it.
On the occasion of this day, D.Ed. Librarian of, Shri. Bhimrao Kashinath Pagare exhibited all kinds of books, textbooks, as well as various educational materials and tools in the library.
Students and teachers gave a spontaneous response to this exhibition.
